Denver Barbarians finish 2nd, Glendale Merlins finish 9th at 2017 USA Rugby Club 7s National Championships

The Denver Barbarians appeared in their 8th Club 7s National Championship Final, falling in heartbreaking fashion to the defending champion Rugby Utah Selects, 22-21. 

The Glendale women's program, now competing as the Glendale Merlins, went 5-1, winning the Bowl and finishing 9th. Glendale was sent into the bowl bracket after losing a 3-way tiebreaker after going 2-1 in pool play.

Congratulations to both squads for carrying on a tradition of excellence by Rocky Mountain programs at the national level.
