2019 Rocky Mountain Rugby Club Kickoff Tournament

The kickoff tournament is back! Please indicate your club's participation using the form below. All clubs will be guaranteed at least three 30-minute matches on the day to trial players and combinations prior to the season starting. Final format will be determined after all clubs have responded. No team will be asked to play more than 120 minutes on the day.

2019 RMR Club Kickoff Tournament
Date: Saturday, August 17
Location: Cook Park, Denver, CO (7100 Cherry Creek S Dr, Denver, CO 80224)
Time: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

A post-event social will be hosted by the Denver Misfits at The Watering Bowl, located at 5411 Leetsdale Dr, Denver, CO 80246 (just 2 miles from Cook Park).

The 2019 Kickoff Tournament is being funded by Men's Club player dues, and is currently only open to senior men's clubs participating in the Men's Premiership and Men's Championship. Players from other clubs and programs may participate with registered men's clubs for the purpose of this event, but collegiate sides will not be eligible to register as an individual club.

This event is not a 'championship tournament' and will not have a championship match. It is intended solely as a warm-up. All attendees must be registered with USA Rugby prior to attending, though it is not required they are registered to their club of participation for this event. 

Clubs must be registered for this event by Tuesday, August 13.

9:30 AM: Denver Harlequins vs. Queen City Rams
10:10 AM: Northern Colorado Flamingos vs. Denver Highlanders
10:50 AM: Denver Misfits vs. Denver Barbarians

11:50 AM: Denver Harlequins vs. Northern Colorado Flamingos
12:30 PM: Denver Barbarians vs. Queen City Rams
1:10 PM: Denver Highlanders vs. Denver Misfits

2:10 PM: Queen City Rams vs. Northern Colorado Flamingos
2:50 PM: Denver Harlequins vs. Denver Misfits
3:30 PM: Denver Barbarians vs. Denver Highlanders

4:00 PM Event concludes; teams head to social at The Watering Bowl
