RMRU History
Established in 2014 as the successor to the Eastern Rockies Rugby Football Union, founded 1967, the Rocky Mountain Rugby Union (RMRU) boasts a rich history within USA Rugby. Encompassing one of the nation's most historic rugby regions, RMRU member clubs have achieved remarkable success, capturing over 40 national championships and appearing in over 60 national championship finals since 1979. The Union currently fosters a thriving rugby community with 22 senior men's clubs, and 11 senior women's clubs.
