The 2018 Eastern Rockies Cup event will be held on Saturday, November 3, on the turf field of Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado. Inaugurated in Fall 2018, the Eastern Rockies Cup is a hybrid competition between clubs in the Rocky Mountain Premiership and the Rocky Mountain Championship. Featuring eight of the top and longest-tenured clubs in the area, the cup competition plays alongside Fall Premiership and Championship fixtures, featuring two pools of four teams each. The pools each feature two teams from each division, and matches played within the Premiership and Championship competitions count in both sets of standings.
For the 2018 season, the Eastern Rockies Cup will include all eight competitors meeting at Infinity Park for a full day of club rugby action. Teams will square off against their cross-pool opponent who finished in the same place within their pool. The winner will be awarded the inaugural Eastern Rockies Cup trophy, which is to include plating for all future winners of this Fall cup competition.
Schedule:
11:00 am - Pool A #4 vs. Pool B #4
12:30 pm - Pool A #3 vs. Pool B #3
2:00 pm - Pool A #2 vs. Pool B #2
3:30 pm - Pool A #1 vs. Pool B #1
