Hall of Fame Criteria

ERRFU Hall of Fame - Award Criteria
Club Player Criteria:
1. Athleticism; skills that were clearly above their peers.
2. Rugby Knowledge; awareness of rules/field awareness.
3. Team Ethic; superior commitment to team over self.
4. Attitude; superior commitment to the game and will to win.
5. Intangibles; brought level of game by teammates to a higher level.
6. Leadership; leader on the field, whether by intent or example:
7. Select-side play; ERRFU, Western, Eagle Caps:
8. Tournament honors, MVP's
9. Team/ Club honors, MVP's
10. When an opposing team did their scouting report did this player's name come up as someone to "watch out for"
11. Non-Playing contributions.
12. Retired from competitive play.
Club Administrator Criteria
Contributed to the game of Rugby and demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the sport as indicated by several of the following:
1. He/she was a founder of his/her club and demonstrated extended commitment to its survival.
2. Demonstrated commitment to strengthen/lengthen the survival of the club.
3. Demonstrated a love of the game by the contribution(s) made to the club at any one or more levels that include the following: coaching/refereeing/administration/financial/ leadership/sponsorship/etc. for their individual club.
4. Demonstrated a love of the game by support for his/her club over the long term by consistently being in support.
Union Administrator Criteria
1. Demonstrated commitment to strengthen rugby as a whole in ERRFU.
2. Demonstrated a commitment to strengthen rugby as a whole in the Western, National or International arena.
3. Demonstrated a love of the game by the outstanding contribution(s) made to the game at any one or more levels that include the following:
coaching/refereeing/ administration/financial/leadership/sponsorship/etc., for women's/men's/youth/high school/college/club/select side/national levels.
4. Organized multiple short and long term events.
5. Served in union administrative positions; president, vp, secretary, treasurer, others.
